Shopping - Attractive shopping destinations are within easy drive of Ravensthorpe.

Shellharbour is a short drive from Ravensthorpe boasting the major Shopping Centre of the region, Stocklands, in the new town centre. The old town centre, on the coast, has a village feel and features quaint brik-a-brak shopping and a hospitable hotel overlooking the harbour after which the area is named.

Kiama welcomes visitors with The Terrace. Built in 1886 to house local quarrymen, these restored timber terraces (the last remaining in NSW), now provide a range of craft, gift and other speciality shops including two restaurants and a cafe.

Berry, the next stop South, is a small country town with charm and grace. Famous as "the town of trees" it is now very popular for weekend visitors looking for antiques or just "a taste of the country".  A short drive further is the quaint surf town of Gerringong offering more shopping and cafes.

Visitors to the park can relax by picnicking, bush walking, swimming or observing the beautiful stands of rainforest. There are two scenic walks - the Cascades Rainforest Walk and the Glenview Track.

Minnamurra Rainforest - This fragile rainforest ecosystem can be accessed via a network of raised timber boardwalks and paved walk tracks.
